Our sound is rooted deep in the raw energy and pocket groove of classic James Brown-era soul, mixed with the kind of modern hits that keep a room moving until the house lights come up. Whether you're ready to hit the dance floor at a wedding or simply enjoy the live performance, Rhythm Major offers an engaging musical journey that feels complete—even without a horn section.  We don't do the typical "cover band" routine where musicians stare at their shoes or tune guitars between tracks. Taking a page from classic collegiate marching band culture, our entire show is guided by drum-major-led transitions. One song finishes, the beat drops, the horns hit their cues, and we roll right into the next track. The momentum never stops, which means the energy on your dance floor never stops either. 

 We get it—no two events are the same. That’s why we don't do one-size-fits-all. Rhythm Major can scale our live lineup to fit your specific venue:

• The Core Groove (6-Piece): Lean, mean rhythm section and front-line vocals. Perfect for tight spaces, high-energy clubs, and packed dance floors.
• The Major Soul Revue (7-Piece): The core band packed with a select horn section for that classic, punchy soul depth.
• The Full Spectacle (10-Piece): The ultimate experience. Full brass section, maximum choreography, and undeniable concert energy.
